Medvednica (Zagrebacka Gora), a mountain in the immediate vicinity of the northern part of Zagreb; the highest peak Sljeme (1,032 m). It stretches in the southwest-northeast direction in the total length of 42 km; area about 240 sq km. This area is part of a national park which covers an awe-inspiring 228 square kilometres of which the majority of land is covered with forest.
Tourism on Medvednica has a long tradition. The first hiking object in Croatia was erected here in 1870 - a small, wooden pyramid. On the northern slopes near Sljeme is a winter athletics centre which has hosted Women’s and Men’s FIS World Cup Slalom races. Hotel Snow Queen is precede on elevation of 1001 meters, northeastern of Clerks meadow.
Hotel Snow Queen has seventeen apartments with fireplaces, restaurant, wellness with solarium and sauna and child playground.
INTERKONZALTING d.o.o. was responsible for the construction works supervision and coordination, planning and cost control, health and safety supervision, design review, technical assistance to the client for equipment selection, evaluation and testing, namely electrical equipment and control equipment. Support was also given during the works and equipment procurement stage.
