The entire procedure for external moorings construction on the breakwaters of the city port of Split, is planned through 2 stages.
The purpose of this facility is to enable the mooring of large ships on the circular travel-cruises, and alternative acceptance of ro-ro ships in order to improve their functioning and increase capacity of the domestic and international ship liner traffic in city port of Split.
The entire building consists of the following parts:
A) Building Phase 1
A.1) Berth 1 - west mooring for ships up to 320 m long
A.2) Plato with ferry ramp
A.3) Intervention access 1
A.4) Intervention access 2
A.5) Suspension on the breakwater / extension of the mooring 28
A.6) Border crossing
A.7) Access road and bus parking
B) Building phase 2
B.1) Mooring 2 - Eastern mooring for ships up to 265 m long
