Expansion and modernization to meet current standards in Museum exhibition.
Total Site area amount is 22.000 m². The Museum of Contemporary Art cover a total surface of 14.700 m², 4800 m² of which will be used as exhibition space. Its north facade, oriented towards the city park with Bundek Lake, is intended for open-air
exhibitions. The ground floor is entirely intended for the visitors, containing shops, library with a reading hall, and a multimedia hall. The exhibition rooms are located on the upper floors of the Museum, constructed in a meander-like form. At the underground level, there are spaces for storing artworks, an audio-visual studio, auxiliary spaces for technical maintenance, and restoration workshops.
