During 1995. and 1996. on Site Plečašove Barns archeological surveying discovered Roman temple Augusteum qnd 17 marble sculptures, presenting Roman Emperors and members of their families. Groundworks has started on 19. July 2004. Opening was on 18. May 2007, as first museum in Croatia, built in situ. In Museum are exposed 900 findings, showing town history from end 3rd century BC.; up to 15 century.
Located in Vid, Arheological Museum Narona eaves over archeological finding site with mosaics on floors, numerous statues, architectural plastic and decorations and all kind of daily useful subjects from early Roman age. A newly build Museum building in center of village Vid, on a hill slope, with open staircases and terraces, surmount upper-air distance, leading you trough part of Roman history in Dalmatia.
INTERKONZALTING d.o.o. was responsible for construction and installation works supervision and coordination, planning and cost control, health and safety supervision, design review, technical assistance to the client for equipment selection. Support was also given during the works and equipment procurement stage.
